PROJECT: INTERNATIONAL CENTRE FOR CLEAN WATER │ CATEGORY: INSTITUTIONAL │ LOCATION: CHENNAI, INDIA │ CLIENT: IIT MADRAS
Whitefield is the IT hub of bangalore which makes the state capital of Karnataka the silicon valley of India. The floating population in this region is constantly in search of different hangout places. The new Forum ¨Shantiniketan mall by Prestige constructions decided to dedicate it's food court to the techies there. Thus came up with the concept of 'PIXELS'. The initial design was presented with the help of above seen walkthrough. Most of the design features were retained from it and the final product came out as a vibrant and dynamic design which is loved by the techie community - the regular visitors of the place. We introduced certain design elements and furniture which connects the indoor space to the outdoor, such as park benches and car kitchens. Also some fun filled furniture arrangement like jump-in chinese style tables which are loved by the hangout groups.
